Phil Bates, Co-founder and Managing Director
An experienced, award winning entrepreneur, Phil has overseen the growth of the company from a small 2 person team to where it is today.
Graham Fick, Co-founder and Technical Director
Graham is a qualified engineer with a passion for motors. Having worked in the industry following his university days, Graham worked with Phil to develop the initial prototypes and business plan for what would become Zikodrive.
Stefan Helsing, Director
A retired CEO and hugely experienced Director, Stefan joined the board following investment from SycoTec. When not in the Board Room, Stefan is often found travelling the world.
Simon Steinle, Director
An experienced Engineer with a passion for sales, Simon joined the team in 2024.
Management
Alex Calderbank, Operations Manager
Al is a hands on Operations Manager with a passion for process improvement and business growth. When not driving up standards he relaxes by watching Liverpool, fishing and listening to music.
Sanket Gore, Engineering Manager
Sanket is responsible for overseeing R&D and custom projects. A keen chess player, Sanket enjoys following the game internationally as well as playing.
Shelley Walker, HR, Training and Development Manager
With a background in teaching and learning, as well as a degree in Business Management and Chartered Manager status, Shelley applies her skills and experience to support the needs of the team as well as scouting future recruits.
