 •Designed as a Sensorless Brushless motor controller and features closed loop PI (proportional integral) motor control. This allows constant speed or constant current operation for motor control applications where constant speed is required under variable load.



•The ZDBL20 brushless ESC operates at up to 20A and up to 30v.



•Programmable current limits are a key feature of the ZDBL20 sensorless brushless motor controller, thus allowing protection of motors and increased safety.



•The ZDBL20 Brushless ESC can be set up for speed control via 0-5Vdc analogue voltage or external pulses. For OEM applications it is quick and easy to set up external potentiometers and switches as required (CONTACT US for more information)



•Selectable Acceleration settings allow the startup phase of operation to be calibrated to enable successful starting under load. See APPLICATIONS section for case study details of this type of application.



•The ZDBL20 brushless DC controller features closed loop feedback from back EMF.



•Over temperature protections and stall detection are a key feature of the ZDBL20 brushless ESC, this provides greater safety and security and can also protect the controller, ensuring longer life.


•Weighs less than 30g and measures 55mm x 11.7mm x 55mm.

ZDBL20 - SENSORLESS BRUSHLESS MOTOR CONTROLLER (BLDC MOTOR DRIVER OR BRUSHLESS ESC)

An intelligent and fully programmable brushless ESC (BLDC motor driver) designed as a compact solution for sensorless and sensored brushless DC motor control.

The ZDBL20 is a bigger board than the ZDBL15 and smaller boards but remains a compact option at the power rating.

A BRUSHLESS MOTOR CONTROLLER DESIGNED & MADE IN THE UK FOR A HUGE RANGE OF BRUSHLESS MOTOR CONTROL APPLICATIONS AND PROJECTS

The ZDBL20 sensorless brushless motor controller  delivers up to 600w of brushless motor drive from a compact package measuring 55mm x 55mm.

The ZDBL20 brushless ESC is fully programmable allowing it to be optimised for a wide range of motor projects and applications (see right hand side for some typical applications) but also enabling the controller to store preset programmes which can be triggered as required.

By optimising the settings and parameters on the ZDBL20 brushless motor controller to your choice of motor the ZDBL20 can deliver class leading performance in both mechanical output but also in energy efficiency. This is most noticeable in the startup sequences (a point which can often be problematic in a lot of applications which use sensorless brushless motors).
