Flexible UK designed Motor Controllers that deliver tailored performance and value for money for a range of arcade and amusement applications

All Zikodrive Motor Controllers are designed and manufactured in the UK to the highest possible standards. We also have full UK based customer service.

By custom programming our standard range of stepper motor controllers and brushless motor controllers (as well as optimising controllers to work with specific motors) we’re confident that there are no other controllers on the market which can meet the level of performance and ease of use offered by Zikodrive.

Controllers supplied with or without motors as required in your project

If you have a motor that is already working well in a particular application then we can help. Simply send us a sample of the motor, we will programme the controllers up to work well with that motor and return everything to you. There is a small setup charge for doing this but this can be agreed in advance either as a fixed price or an hourly rate.

Alternatively, if you have an application and you are not sure what is the best motor to use to get the best possible performance, our team can put together a complete package for you.

Safety features can be modified and preset as required by your project to reduce damage and guarantee performance

All Zikodrive Motor Controllers include basic safety features such as thermal shut down, over current sensing, stall detection and shut down and reverse polarity protection.

Such safety features can be hugely important in the arcade and amusement industry to protect players but also to ensure long lasting performance. We will work with you to deliver the right solution.

Making the switch from DC motors to brushless DC or stepper motors is not as hard as you might think…

More and more companies in the arcade and amusement business are looking to switch from brushed DC motors to stepper or brushless motors.

Whilst being slightly more expensive in the short term both stepper motors and brushless motors offer significant advantages both in terms of performance but also lifespan.

Performance improvements include less weight, more power and an improved speed range but stepper motors can also provide a huge range of additional options.

The options provided by these motors can often open up many doors for new product development and ideas.

In most situations replacing brushed DC motors with stepper or brushless motors leads to significantly reduced costs over the lifespan of a machine because it reduces servicing requirements and extends the life of the motor.
